Deana Klein

Deana Dougherty Klein earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work at the same time, which is a perfect window into how she sees her legal calling. Deana is passionate about helping her clients work through their legal issues in the most supportive manner.

A trained civil mediator with a focus on family law mediation and a trained collaborative divorce professional, Deana is often appointed for post-judgement conflict resolution with high-conflict families. She has certainly seen – and helped to win - her fair share of contentious custody litigation. But as a trained mediator, she is also adept at helping families come to agreements that leave both sides satisfied.

While Deana is well-versed in all aspects of family law, she is also excellent at Probate and Estate planning and other civil litigation issues. She is a past-president and board member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts – Missouri chapter.
